The Society had its last Annual Meeting at the ROMPEX 2009 Philatelic Exhibition
held in Denver, Colorado, Friday to Sunday, May 14 to 17, 2009.

Cuba at the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show 2009

Denver, CO, May 14-17.

The CPSA held its annual meeting in the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, with the beautiful backdrop of the snow-covered Rocky Mountains. About a dozen of our members attended the show, but what we lacked in numbers was made up in enthusiasm. CPSA members presented seven exhibits and our auction manager, Jack E. Thompson, took the show’s highest honor. Yamil H. Kouri, Jr. was one of the judges, and Ron Hill very ably managed his double duty as the show’s exhibit chairman and program editor. A very memorable aspect of this show was the quality and number of social activities mainly arranged by Judy Wright, Ron Hill’s wife, with the help of Robert Littrell. On Friday Robert Littrell made a presentation on the Centros de Hoja and our formal meeting took place on Saturday. A list of the exhibits presented by our members, and their awards, is shown below:
